The only seaport complex in Bulgaria specialized in unloading of liquefied hydrocarbon gases, celebrated five years of its introduction into service. Among the guests of the festive ceremony were Deputy Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov, Mr. Angel Zaburtov – General Director of the State Enterprise “Port Infrastructure”, and representatives of the Municipality of Burgas, representatives of the Maritime Administration, as well as employees and workers in the company.
The construction of the complex began on August 14, 2014 as an extension of the Buffer Storage for Liquid Fuels. Operational activity started a few months later, and to date we report a significant increase in the number of processed ships – from 11 ships in 2015 to 42 ships in 2019 – an increase of nearly 3 times.
The management of BMF Port Burgas EAD thanks all state and municipal institutions, Bulgarian and international companies, contractors and friends for the support provided over the years.
