Vacational Training Center
The Vacational Training Center at BMF Port Burgas AD /VTC/ has many years of experience and established traditions related to vocational education and training. In today’s dynamically changing labour market, vocational education is a step towards professional realization. The goal of the VTC is to improve employment, to support the professional career and individual development of every student.
The main subject of activity of the VTC with license № 2013121084 is the performance and certification of vocational training with the acquisition of a degree of professional qualification, according to Art. 12, items 1, 2 and 6 and in accordance with art. 49a, para. 1 of the VETA in the following professions and specialties for initial professional qualification:
- Crane operator
- Welder
- Locksmith
- Fitter of transport equipment
- Railway technician
The material base of the center has been completely renovated. The classrooms have interactive whiteboards and computers. The internship is held in the training workshops of the company, equipped with modern equipment.
The training staff in the theory of the profession consists of part-time teachers / lecturers / with higher education, as a rule – either current or former employees of the port – mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, economists, ship captains, dangerous goods consultants, mechanical engineers, masters in power supply and electrical equipment in transport, welders, locksmiths, having a specialty that meets the requirements for training in the profession.
The training staff in the practical aspect of the profession consists of part-time teachers / instructors / with higher, semi-higher / college / and secondary special education, as a rule – either current or former employees of the port, having a specialty that meets the requirements for training in the respective profession.
