Container Terminal
The Container Terminal of the Burgas Port Complex is located within the Port Terminal Burgas West and is managed by a separate unit called Advance Container Terminal Burgas.
The capacity of the container terminal is 200 000 TEU per annum and the container traffic is managed by NAVIS Terminal Operating System.
ACT Burgas has a specialized area for handling of containerized cargo – CFS / Container Freight Station / area, equipped for handling of various different cargoes.
The highly competitive environment in the Black Sea region in terms of container handling compared to ports in Bulgaria requires adequate and high-tech provision of all prerequisites necessary to achieve an even higher level of services than the ones of the competing Black Sea ports. Today BMF Port Burgas is proud of the success of its strategy for the development of port services related to the handling of containers and container cargo in Bulgaria. The container traffic through the terminal maintains a clear trend of increasing volumes of work and marks an impressive growth of 86% in 2022 compared to 2014.

Dry Port Sofia - Intermodal Terminal
An Intermodal Terminal placed in the Industrial Park Sofia-Bozhurishte was designed to serve as our Dry Port the Heart of the Balkans.
With this project, we take our sea container handling service to the next level. The terminal is designed to handle rail freight traffic between the Port of Burgas and the Sofia region. Located just 5 km. distance from the Ring Road around the capital, Dry Port Sofia provides a quick connection both to all the industrial areas on the outskirts of the city and to the highways in the country.
Located in the heart of the Balkans, the terminal offers intermodal solution for our customers that ensures fast and reliable container deliveries to/from the interior of the country as well as to the European network of intermodal terminals. For more details please click here.
