Specialized Copper Concentrate Facilities
Technological port facilities and warehouse for discharging and storage of copper concentrate provide direct discharging of copper concentrate form the vessel into the storage facility and subsequent loading onto railway cars for transportation to the hinterland. The facilities are serviced by a new generation hydraulic crane, specially designed for the project.
The facility is equipped with especially designed for it crane manufactured by the market leader Sennebogen . It has an outreach of 42m allowing the handling of vessels with up to 50 000 DW. This crane is the very first one of the 8400 EQ series and is equipped with Sennebogen’s green efficiency technology.
Multipurpose facility for storage of concentrates
Port Terminal Burgas East II has a multipurpose facility for storage of concentrates with annual capacity of 200 000 tons of bulk cargo and load capacity of 7000 tons/12 hours.
