The preliminary studies for construction of new port infrastructure at “Burgas East-2” and “Burgas West” terminals have started
On March 28, 2022 BMF Port Burgas EAD and Bulgeoinvest EOOD signed contracts for “Engineering geological survey on the territory and in the water area of port terminal “Burgas East-2” and port terminal “Burgas West” being parts of the Burgas Public Transport Port ” in two separate lots:
- Lot 1: “Engineering geological survey on the territory and in the water area of berth 20A – port terminal “Burgas East-2”. The value of the awarded service amounts to BGN 77,865.20, VAT excl., and the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Bulgeoinvest EOOD is 47 calendar days.
- Lot 2: Engineering geological survey on the territory and in the water area of berth 29 – port terminal “Burgas West”. The value of the awarded service amounts to BGN 130 225,40, VAT excl., and the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Bulgeoinvest EOOD is 58 calendar days.
On March 29, 2022 BMF Port Burgas EAD and Geo 2000 OOD signed contracts for „Geodetic survey on the territory adjacent to berth 20A – port terminal “Burgas East-2” and berth 29 – port terminal “Burgas West” being parts of the Burgas Public Transport Port” in two separate lots:
- Lot 1: “Geodetic survey on the territory adjacent to berth 20A – port terminal “Burgas East-2”. The value of the assigned service amounts to BGN 15,100.00, VAT excl., and the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Geo 2000 OOD is 6 calendar days.
- Lot 2: “Geodetic survey of the territory adjacent to berth 29 – port terminal “Burgas West”. The value of the assigned service amounts to BGN 20,000.00, VAT excl., and the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Geo 2000 OOD is 4 calendar days.
On the same date BMF Port Burgas EAD assigned to Geo 2000 OOD the contracts for “Mapping of the energy sources, water supply and communications at berth 20A – port terminal “Burgas East-2” and berth 29 – port terminal “Burgas West” being parts of the Burgas Public Transport Port ” on the following two separate lots:
- Lot 1: “Mapping of the energy sources, water supply and communications at berth 20A – port terminal “Burgas East-2”. The value of the assigned service amounts to BGN 15,100.00, VAT excl., and the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Geo 2000 OOD is 6 calendar days.
- Lot 2: “Mapping of energy sources, water supply and communications at berth 29 – port terminal “Burgas West”. The value of the assigned service amounts to BGN 20,000.00, VAT excl., as the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Geo 2000 OOD is 6 calendar days.
Geo 2000 OOD was also selected as a contractor for the contracts for “Bathymetric survey in the waters of port terminal “Burgas East-2” and port terminal “Burgas West” being parts of the Burgas Public Transport Port” on two separate lots:
- Lot 1: “Bathymetric survey in the waters adjacent to berth 20A – port terminal “Burgas East-2”. The value of the assigned service amounts to BGN 15,100.00, VAT excl., and the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Geo 2000 OOD is 4 calendar days.
- Lot 2: “Bathymetric survey in the waters adjacent to berth 29 – port terminal “Burgas West”. The value of the assigned service amounts to BGN 20,000.00, VAT excl., and the contractual term for implementation of the activities by Geo 2000 OOD is 4 calendar days.
The contracts were concluded on March 29, 2022.
On March 29, 2022, BMF Port Burgas EAD assigned to Tabov Engineering OOD the contracts for “Seabed inspection in the water area of port terminal “Burgas East-2” and port terminal “Burgas West” being parts of the Burgas Public Transport Port ” in two separate lots:
- Lot 1: “Seabed inspection in the water area adjacent to berth 20A – port terminal “Burgas East-2”. The total value of the assigned service is BGN 34,000.00, VAT excl., and the deadline for implementation is 45 calendar days.
- Lot 2: „Seabed inspection in the water area adjacent to berth 29 – port terminal “Burgas West”. The total value of the assigned service is BGN 74 000,00, VAT excl., and the deadline for implementation is 45 calendar days.
The invitations to participate in the procedures for selection of a contractor for awarding services were published in the “Buyer’s Profile” section on the website of BMF Port Burgas EAD on December 1, 2021.
The preliminary studies are part of project “Black Sea Gateway to the OEM Transport Corridor. Studies for development of the basic infrastructure of the core port of Burgas – 2020-BG-TMC-0014-S” of BMF Port Burgas EAD. The project is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – Transport, priority “Pre-identified projects on the Core Network Corridors and on the other sections of the Core network”, with a total indicative value of EUR 1 172 000.
The preliminary studies should be completed within the deadline set in the Grant Agreement, namely 30 May 2022.
The deadline for implementation of all project activities by the Company is June 30, 2024.
